Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security in Imo State, Chief Longers Anyanwu has commended Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Senator Hope Uzodinma, for presenting a brand-new bus to the APC Zonal Chairman for Okigwe Zone, Hamza Ogu.
The APC Zonal Chairman, Hamza Ogu, presented the vehicle to Chief Anyanwu during a meeting on Monday, where Anyanwu expressed appreciation to Governor Uzodinma for the gesture, describing it as a demonstration of his commitment to strengthening the party at the grassroots.
He urged Ogu to utilise the opportunity to intensify his mobilisation efforts, reach out to more people and expand the party’s support base across Okigwe Zone.
Chief Anyanwu assured the chairman of the Governor’s continued support, stressing that Uzodinma’s administration recognises and rewards hard work and commitment to the party.
He reemphasized his steadfast and personal commitment to the APC, stating that he would continue to support the party’s structures at all levels
“I shall continue to help in fueling the bus from today until after all our elections,” Anyanwu said.
He further admonished the zonal chairman to remain open and accommodate all party members, while encouraging those still undecided to remain constant and committed to the APC.
Anyanwu also commended Ogu for the comprehensive billboards being erected across the zone, assuring the party’s candidates of his commitment to supporting their campaigns and expressed confidence that all APC flag bearers in the zone would emerge victorious in the 2027 elections.
