Airstrikes eliminate five terrorist commanders and 35 others in Borno

As part of efforts to further curb the activities of terrorists in the Northeast, the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai, has executed an Air interdiction mission in Arina, Southern Tumbus, Borno State.

In a statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet says five key terrorist Commanders present at the location during the operation include Munzir Arika and Sani Dilla.

Others are Ameer Modu, DanFulani Fari, and Bakoura Chiki, along with over 35 other foot soldiers were eliminated.

The statement adds that before the mission, intelligence had revealed that clandestine migration of terrorists into the area from neigbouring locations and confirmatory Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions conducted identified numerous terrorists and active structures concealed under trees.
