The flurries of solidarity and endorsements towards Dr. Godwin Maduka’s governorship quest took a notch higher today at the palace of the foremost and reverred traditional ruler of Onitsha, HRM Igwe Dr. Nnaemeka Achebe, Agbogidi of Onitsha. It was the most perfect avenue for the Accord Party standard flagbearer, Dr. Godwin Maduka to officially announce his intentions to vie for the upcoming Anambra state governorship election on November 6, 2021 to the good people of Onitsha and her environs.
Dr. Maduka formally intimated his genuine interest to the paramount ruler and his cabinet members. He extensively laid bare his positive and verifiable antecedents, professional forays, private sector achievements, numerous human capital development and other acclaimed attainments both in his community and beyond. He expressed his desire to bring to bear his vast wealth of experience if availed the opportunity to govern the state. Dr. Maduka went further to dissect his workable and water-tight programmes cum policies which will in practice drastically transform our dear state.
After intently listening to Dr. Maduka’s litanies of antecedents and ambitions, Igwe Dr. Nnaemeka Achebe and his cabinet chiefs warmly welcomed him.
