Anambra State Government Fumigates House Of Assembly Complex.

Anambra state government through the department of veterinary services, Ministry of Agriculture, has fumigated the state House of Assembly complex’ offices and environs.
The exercise is in line with the proactive measures by the state government to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
Speaking during the exercise, the state Director, Veterinary Services, Ministry of Agriculture, Dr Basil Ideh, revealed that the ministry will carry out similar exercises in other public places, which includes motor parks and other markets yet to be fumigated, hence the process remains a continuous one.
In their separate remarks, the Member representing Onitsha South in the state House of Assembly and the Chairman, House Committee on House Services, Honorable Uzoma Eli and his Idemili North counterpart, Honorable Ifeanyi Chiekwu who both commended the Governor Willie Obiano – led administration for it’s prompt response to the challenging situation assured that the house will at all times support all the innovations, policies and projects of the state government meant for the interest of Ndi Anambra.
They however called on the citizenry to remain law abiding especially at this time of COVID-19 by keeping to all the preventive measures.
