The All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully completed the nomination process for the 2027 general elections, achieving a full upload of its candidates onto the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal.
The announcement was made by the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda on Friday. According to Yilwatda,c the ruling party achieved a 100 percent upload of all its candidates within the stipulated timeframe stipulated by INEC.
In a statement, APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda congratulated the party’s leader, members, and candidates nationwide on the milestone.
“I am pleased to announce that All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully achieved a 100% upload of all our 56 Governorship, and 1,015 State House of Assembly candidates on the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal”, he said.
The successful upload clears the way for the party’s candidates to participate in the forthcoming governorship and States House of Assembly elections, subject to INEC’s verification and other Electoral procedures.
“This milestone reflects the organizational strength of our great party”, Nentawe added.
The APC National Chairman said that the ruling party would not shift its attention to engaging Nigerians ahead of the 2027 polls while promoting the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Also, the ruling party is expected to intensify campaigns across the affected states as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
