The SOUTH EAST APC YOUTH FRONTIERS have called out and endorsed Rt.Honourable GOODLUCK NANA OPIAH for the National Secretary of ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS APC especially as the position has been zoned to South East.
In a press briefing held in Owerri shortly after the youth group met on Monday March 22, the national coordinator and secretary Comr.OGBONNA COLLINS and Hon.ANYA. S.ANYA said”Having met and considered critically the level of Dividends of Democracy delivered to the people under the leadership of President Muhammad Buhari and Governors Hope Uzodinma and Dave Umahi of IMO and Ebonyi states, and the impact of the zone since the formation of APC till date, We have unanimously endorsed Rt.Hon.Goodluck OPIAH for the position of national secretary in the forthcoming convention.
“Our endorsement was informed by the contributions and achievements of the fine lawmaker both to the party and his people, the South easterners. The Ex Speaker of IMO Assembly was among few personalities who brought victory for our great party in the last elections in our zone alongside Sen.Hope Uzodinma,Dr. Chris Ngige,Chief Ogbonnaya Onu,Sen.Orji Uzor Kalu.His an astute politician who can be in trusted with the affairs of our party Secretariat to continue to move from strength to strength, having shown capacity and exhibited characteristics of a true party man.
“We thank the leadership of our great party for this opportunity given to South East to produce the national scribe.We trust in the personality of Hon.G N.OPIAH to deliver on the mandate to drive the party forward,his the closest ally of the governor of IMO State and leader of the party in our zone,Sen. Hope Uzodinma.”
Meanwhile, the party convention is expected to be held in June this year,we will mobilize youths of our zone to rally round South East Contestants in the forthcoming convention.
We call on all youths of the zone to register in the ongoing APC revalidation exercise to make sure the zone gives maximum support in the 2023 elections in Nigeria.
