Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested suspected logistics suppliers linked to Boko Haram during coordinated operations in Adamawa and Borno States.
According to military sources, the operations targeted individuals believed to be providing material support to insurgents operating in the North-East.
Several suspects were apprehended, while cache of items was recorded, including drones, firearms, ammunition, and other tactical equipment.
The army described the arrests as a significant breakthrough in ongoing efforts to dismantle the insurgents’ supply chain.
Officials noted that disrupting logistics networks is critical to weakening the operational capacity of armed groups, as they rely heavily on external suppliers for weapons, surveillance tools, and communication equipment.
Borno State, widely regarded as the epicenter of the insurgency, has witnessed sustained military operations in recent years, while Adamawa State continues to experience security interventions aimed at preventing cross-border infiltrations and attacks.
Military authorities reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying operations across the region to restore stability, protect civilians, and eliminate support structures sustaining insurgent activities.
