Balmoral Promotions honours three Nigerian boxing champions following the official presentation of their World Boxing Organization (WBO) Africa Championship belts at a special ceremony held at Villa Valhalla, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of Godday “Zodsolo” Appah, the WBO Africa Cruiserweight Champion; Basit Adebayo, the WBO Africa Lightweight Champion; and Taiwo Agbaje, the WBO Africa Featherweight Champion. The three athletes were formally presented with their championship belts in recognition of their dedication, discipline and remarkable performances that have continued to raise the profile of Nigerian boxing on the African and international stage.
The ceremony brought together key stakeholders in the sports industry, including sports executives, media representatives, business leaders, boxing enthusiasts and other invited guests who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the champions.
In attendance were Ezekiel Adamu, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Balmoral Group, and Osa Bazuu, Founder of N Effect Mode Ltd and manager of Godday Appah, alongside the champions and other personalities committed to advancing the growth of professional boxing in Nigeria.
Speaking at the ceremony, Osa Bazuu highlighted the importance of supporting Nigerian athletes and creating opportunities for them to compete at the highest levels.

Also speaking, Ezekiel Adamu, Founder and CEO of Balmoral Group, reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to promoting excellence and creating platforms that support athletes.
