Former Minister of Aviation and a popular chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Femi Fani-Kayode may have concluded plans to dump the opposition for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
9News Nigeria learnt from a reliable that the former Aviation Minister held a closed door meeting with Mai Mala Buni, the All Progressives Congress (APC) party Caretaker Committee Chairman who is also the governor of Yobe state.
Our correspondent gathered that the outspoken opposition figure had earlier on Monday met with the Kogi state governor Yahaya Bello at his zone 6 residence in Abuja as part of his consultations to dump the PDP.
In further confirmation of the move purported secret move, 9News Nigeria obtained from our source a photograph taken after the meeting showing Femi Fani Kayode, Mai Mala Buni and the Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello.
Recall that Fani-Kayode left APC for PDP about six years ago and has been rated as one of the leading opposition voices against the APC administration.
