A popular broadcaster journalist in Imo state Nigeria, Theodore Chinonso Uba popularly called “Nonso Nkwa” have raised a serious public alarm over an alleged plan by Imo state government to kidnap him.
Nonso made this information public through his Facebook page where he stated that another plot to kidnap him by Imo state government is exposed.
He alleged that four northern hefty men have been imported or better still were invited to Imo state from the North to come and whisk him off or possibly eliminate his life.
Stating that four northerners are already staged and kitted in military uniform to monitor and track his movement and possibly kidnap him to oblivion.
From his Facebook broadcast this Saturday morning, Nonso Nkwa also claimed some government officials are involved in the planned abduction. And the hotel they’re logged is known to him through his source.
Reason for the planned kidnap accordingly was that he has been vocal in condemning government support to Fulani herders and continuously raising alarm against corruption ,insecurity Fulani invasion , herdsmen attack, organ harvesters, and unwanton destruction of farmlands and forests in Imo State, mostly in Owerri zone, Orlu, Okigwe , Ngor Okpala, mbaise , Obosima, oguta ohaji egbema, Owerri west Owerri north axis by Fulani herdsmen.
Nonso Nkwa further stated that the government has given room for the sudden invasion of Fulani herders that led to sudden insecurity across Imo rural communities, while calling on the public to be vigilant and praying God to save ndi Imo.
From a reliable information gathered, Nonso Nkwa said the hotel the four northerners that were kitted in army uniform alongside their co-government officials (two in number ) from Imo state to enforce this kidnap set up has been confirmed by his informant.
The kidnapers will be mobilized with army uniform and army Hilux vehicle targeted at abducting him to unknown destination, Nonso Nkwa frowned.
While making this allegation public, Nonso Nkwa challenged Imo state government to execute their kidnap plan and see how successful such evil plan will work, after several attacks on him were foiled.
Recall that Theodore Chinonso Uba was arrested late last year in Owerri on his way from work , flown out of Imo state where he was detained and was charged to court in Abuja Nigeria.
Theodore Chinonso Uba had earlier stated that the imported northerners are already in Imo state and logged in a particular hotel for quite a week interval to execute his kidnap.
This news calls for emergency attention to secure the safety of all imolites while further investigation continues.
