Inormation reaching 9News Nigeria has confirmed that the Supervisory Presiding Officer, Ms Ebehireme Blessing Ekwe, who was abducted on the eve of the Bayelsa State Governorship Election is freed.

In a related development, report reaching us has it that the unfolding situation in Brass Local Government Area is under control.
INEC is closely watching the situation in Brass LGA of Bayelsa State where their officials are held hostage.
This is detrimental to credible elections. We call on the security agencies to immediately facilitate their release.
However, the Commission is pleased to announce that its Supervisory Presiding Officer, Ms Ebehireme Blessing Ekwe, who was abducted on the eve of the Bayelsa State Governorship Election was freed yesterday.
