A Nigerian-US based has retired from United States military after investing his twenty six years in service.
The News brook out at a chat with Major Okoroafor by 9News Nigeria correspodent as the New Year just stepped in.
It is another feat recorded by a reliable and responsible NIGERIAN across the shores of his fatherland.
Henry Okoroafor, Major, (RETIRED), Adjutant Generals Corps, United States Army is an example of a hardworking NIGERIAN who followed his career vision without distraction.
It was not rosy for MaJor Okoroafor neither was it fun-making and over-flooded with criminal intent for him to have gone such far but a thorough application of respect, discipline, discussion, focus, dedication, doggedness and fear of God to attain such great height.
In his social media post of the Year, Major Okoroafor could not hold his happiness but came out public to express his feelings for breaking another record in the United States of America.

SIGNING OUT!!
It has been an exciting 26 year journey with many challenges and extra ordinary accomplishments. I am grateful to God for his mercy and grace. I am now officially retired from military service.
I owe a great debt of appreciation to my wife ChiNna for being the strong force that pushed my career and the support base that made the difference for me.
To my wonderful children, thank you for putting up with the years of constant relocations and my absence due to deployments.
Having passed the torch to the next generation of Okoroafor, I am confident the legacy is well and alive. The baton is now in a very bright and capable hand – my daughter Amarachi and I wish her God’s grace as she navigates her own course through this noble profession of arms that has been good to me.
While I am now fully on track in the pursuit of my second dream, which is life in academia, I expect to gradually TRANSITION soon into the U.S. Federal System, working with the Department of Defense as a civilian.
Thank God for his STEADFASTNESS and BLESSINGS.
