Pastor David Emmanuel Ovie, The Founder of God in Action Liberation Mission, and a member of his church members who demanded the return of his SUV from the cleric after an alleged failed prophecy has reached an agreement to resolve the issues out of court.
The out-of-court settlement was reached at Ebrumede Police Station on Sunday following the arrest of the pastor.
The church member, Temitope Monday Diamond who gave his Lexus RX330 to the church after a prophecy told our correspondent on Friday via phone conversations, that the pastor had agreed to pay N4.5 million for the car.
He said the pastor had already N2 million, remaining a balance of N2.5 million.
He said, “We arrested the pastor on Sunday and the main plan was to charge him to court, but the DPO pleaded with us to settle the matter amicably in his office, that we should let him pay the money.
“But we refused to take N4 million initially agreed because we have spent a lot of money on paying lawyers and community youths among other expenses.
