By Favour Onoruese (9News Nigeria)The President, Edo Young Farmers Association, Mr Greg Edosomwan has raised alerm over the payment of funds ment for farmers in Edo state.
Mr Greg Edosomwan stated that the funds is for farmers across the state and the money was approve by Federal Government and directed Central Bank of Nigeria to release it for state government to reach out to farmers in their various locality, surprisely to Edo Young Farmers in Edo state, the loan didn’t get to the real farmers in the state.
Mr Greg Edosomwan Challenge Edo State Government to release the list of farmers which have benefited from the CBN loan.
He also added that, the Governor of Edo state, Mr Godwin Obaseki and his Appointee, Prince Joe Okijie needs to tell Edo Young Farmers Association, How over N10.1B funds was transfered to farmers in the state.
