Governor Okowa’s Aide Assaults PDP Media Practitioner With “Slap & Fall” Charm
A deafening slap from the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, Sen (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa on peace and conflict resolution caused a media practitioner to stagger several times and fall in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The incident happened at an event over the weekend when the star-strucked member of the Delta State PDP social media team approached the SSA’s vehicle to exchange pleasantries when he sighted him about to leave.
According to reports gathered from eyewitnesses privy to the assault, the media man had knocked on the windscreen of the SSA’s vehicle to draw his attention when one of his thugs landed him a hot slap.
A plea from the media man to the SSA who is reported to be a chairmanship aspirant for Ethiope East to reprimand his thug over the slap led to another deafening slap from the SSA himself who was allegedly seen making incantations on a ring he wore before slapping the man.
He went to exchange pleasantries with the SSA when one of his thugs slapped him. Coming down from his vehicle to the surprise of my co-director who felt the thug would be reprimanded for his action, our dishonorable ssa also landed him another deafening slap that sent him scampering for safety and he fell, our source revealed.
When 9News Nigeria contacted the victim of the assault for comments, his phone number returned switched off. Efforts to also reach the SSA as well proved abortive at press time as the number sent to us doesn’t exist.
An aide to the SSA however confirmed the assault on the media man saying that, he knocked on his oga door harshly.
