…..WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PDP AND APC? A question that deserves an Answer!
It’s obvious that the Governor of Ebonyi State is interested in joining APC after several agreements between him and the leading party APC, with promises which i assumed was presented before him.
His defection have taken another side of the story which was aimed at deceiving the Igbos, stating that he is defecting to APC in order to get the Igbo Presidential ticket from APC. Before God and man, this statement from Dave Umahi is so misleading and also a disgrace to the entire SE and Igbo race at large.
It was quite shocking to some people on his defection, but also a misleading channels for others owing the fact that he claimed to be fighting for the interest of the Igbos; Stating that since PDP does not want to Zone it’s Presidential ticket to South East, he will be left with no other option than to join the APC and grab the ticket.
This is what I call self deceit and the height of insensitivity; Was there a time when APC promised to zone their Presidential ticket to South East, was there a time when the leadership of this country have the plans of shifting power to the South East, what is the difference between PDP and APC? This are questions we need to ask Gov. Dave Umahi.
It will Interest you that Umahi is not among the people in Nigeria who have been trying to project the face of the Igbos in Nigeria. Umahi is just a New person in this game of Presidency when it comes to SE and Presidential race.
You will agree with me that Peter Obi is among the Igbo leaders that have been clamoring for the interest of Igbos, but you will recall that Dave Umahi was the person against the selection of Mr. Peter Obi as the Presidential running mate to Atiku Abubakar during 2019 general election.
He should know that there is no plans of giving the Igbos ticket for president by APC. He left PDP out of his jealousy to Peter Obi and also his Stomach infrastructure.
It hurts me seeing old men that contributed to the issues that SE is having today, like Sen. Ken Nnamani (former Senate President) stating that “SE is known for being an opposition party in Nigeria and should stop causing disunity amongst Nigerians”. He made this statement during there visit to the Aso Rock villa in order to officially present Gov. Dave Umahi to President Muhammadu Buhari as a member of the All progressive Congress (APC).
It will interest you that this men have always been part of the problems that The Igbos are having in Nigeria and SE at large. Envy is an integral part of the problem in Umahi’s defection.
