The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Youth Frontier, has welcomed Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye back to the fold.
National President of the group, Austin Okai stated that Melaye’s return was a good decision.
He said, “Sen. Dino Melaye was a prime promoter of the PDP in Kogi State. Unfortunately, due to circumstances which were unmanageable at some point, he was constrained to leave the party.
“Since he has decided out of his own volition, having tasted the so called phantom change, to return to the PDP, we consider Him one of us.
“Whereas Sen. Dino joined the APC, he did not pander to the whims of the men in power by abandoning the people; especially the masses around which the philosophy of the PDP had been built. He was vocal and equivocal in his fight against injustice and tyranny.
“What is most important is that Sen. Dino is now a member of the PDP and is willing and ready to join hands with the progressives in Kogi State to ensure that we put an end to bad governance and a deliberate destruction of the governance institutions in the state.
“His political future in the PDP is bright and I am certain that he will work assiduously to justify what benefits he will derive from the party.”
