A distress call was made to Ijebu Rewa Organization about the sad incident that occurred overnight after Samson’s younger brother who is a night guard had gone to work.
According to neighbors, the 32- year- old suspect left home for over five years, only for him to return home a month ago, strangled his mother to death in the early hours of Sunday, 16the July, 2023.
His mother was said to have made several complaints to neighbors and security operatives about the suspect using drugs. Confirming the incident the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Omotola Odutola said the suspect was currently a neuropsychiatric patient.
