The Dutse International Airport in Jigawa State was completed in 13 months and commissioned in 2014 by the Former President of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebere Jonathan.
Although the Airport generates little traffic due to it location, but it’s building design concept is that of an aeroplane blade with a circular central core and rectangular wings on its left and right axis.
It is equipped with lounges, a watchtower, a runway and modern airport facilities.
