Report reaching 9news Nigeria is that the Anambra PDP 3 Ad-hoc ward Congress for the purpose of electing delegates that will vote at the upcoming 2022 National Assembly Primaries and State House Of Assembly primaries has been cancelled.
Sources from the Anambra PDP secretriat in Awka told 9news that the reason for the cancellation of the Anambra PDP 3 Ad-hoc ward congresses in the State was as a result of the failure of the Ad-hoc Congress Committee from Abuja to provide the original result sheets that will be used to record the results for the ward congresses after hours of patience by members of the party for the five man Committe to provide the missing original 3 ad-hoc results sheets.
He ended by lamenting, why the Peoples Democratic Party National leadership led by Sen. Iyorchia Ayu still allows questionable characters to throw the name of the party to the mud.
A source from within the Anambra ad-hoc ward congress Committee told our correspondence that Chris Ubah (Eselu Uga), Sen. Stella Oduah who just sneaked into the party about 72 hour ago and Sen. Uche Ekwunife was responsible for the missing original result sheets for the conduct of the Anambra 3 man ward ad-hoc Congress.
He equally went on to clarify that Chris Uba hijacked the ad-hoc results for Anambra South, while Sen. Stella Oduah hijacked the result sheet for Anambra North and Sen. Uche Ekwunife was responsible for Anambra Central, however he told us that Sen. Uche was reluctant to accept the bid because she is contesting unopposed.
9news Nigeria correspondence noted that the five man ad-hoc committee after much persuasion by party members at the State Secretariat in Awka went on to cancel the Anambra State 3 man ward Ad-hoc Congresses which was supposed to hold on 30th April 2022 but was postponed to today, Sunday which According to them was as a result of the late arrival of the committee chairman, apologising for any inconveniences this development might have caused members of the Peoples Democratic party in the State and will inform them the later date the ad-hoc will hold (See attached letter from the Committee below).
