The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC and the Department of State Services, DSS, are to spend the sum of N2 billion on fueling their operational vehicles in 2025, according to the proposed appropriation bill.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on December 18, presented a N47.90 trillion budget to the National Assembly, naming it to the budget of restoration, securing peace and and rebuilding prosperity.
In the proposed budget, a significant N4.91 trillion was earmarked for defense and security, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to tackling the nation’s security concerns.
An in-depth analysis of appropriation bill reveals that EFCC has allocated N808.7m solely for fueling it’s vehicles, while another N462 million is embarked for refreshments and meals for the year.
