As some Governors will be going full circle in their eight years of two terms uninterrupted administration and handover to their successors on May 29, 2023 on a clean slate, the case maybe different in Akwa Ibom State as Governor Mr. Udom Emmanuel maybe bequeathing assets and liabilities of an endless list of failed and uncompleted projects initiated by his administration to the next Governor.

Governor Emmanuel is one of the most fortunate Governors in Nigeria after Rivers, Kano, Delta and Lagos States with the largest monthly allocation from the Federation Account, but may leaves the scene in the next fifteen months with a tall list of unfulfilled campaign promises in terms of infrastructural development.

Governor Emmanuel has this week sacked Mr. Ephraim Inyang-Eyen his Chief of Staff for shifting blame on him for the abandonment of Ndon Eyo-Odio road initiated six years ago while he (Ephraim Inyang-Eyen) was serving as Commissioner for Works.

The sack of the former Chief of Staff to Governor Emmanuel who attempted to put the records straight over the abandonment of a sensitive road traversing the Governor’s Local Government of origin prompted concerned citizen to collate the names of several other abandoned and failed projects initiated by Governor Emmanuel since he mounted the saddle on May 29, 2015.

At the time of filling this reports others were still sending other list of uncompleted projects of Governor Emmanuel administration to our mail box.

While we are publishing this report, 9News Nigeria was still receiving mails, SMS and Chats on more failed uncompleted and abandoned projects of Governor Emmanuel based on the flush light we beam on about twenty abandoned projects we published within the week assuming that, that was all.
