The Failing Wisdom of Man
1 Corinthians 1:25. – Human wisdom is a manifestation of our foolishness before God. The world has through various means, made a mockery of God and all it represents through, while it applauds the wisdom of man. However, the current pandemic has uncovered the susceptibility of Human Wisdom. The fear, uncertainty and failures in the health, economic and social system rejuvenate the foolishness of man. Again, the pandemic has exposed the frustrations of the Government and their inability to provide TRUE answers to open questions.
The break down in supply chain management has contributed to the discovery that Man’s wisdom is inadequate and cannot be relied upon. Rather, it compounds existing problems. In contrast, God is independent of our wisdom. He is available to help us. Maybe the circumstance could become better if we genuinely turn to God for answers . Perhaps, our leaders could take a stand of faith by committing to God. Jeremiah 29:13
Covid-19 – A Warning Shoot.
The outbreak of Covid-19 has indicated that many Christians are disconnected from God. It further confirms how easy it is for the world to be shut down by God. The growing concern of the virus is only a warning shoot for every Christians to examine His relationship with God. This is of course a statement of fact that the world must repent and return to him; God wants us as believers to make a mark here on earth and not pass through it calmly. The book of Revelation talks about the judgement of God, proceeding these were clear warnings of imminent danger. A similarity of what the world is going through today.
God Hates The Proud, But Cherishes The Courageous.
God dislikes a proud person. The proud seeks to exalt themselves above others. Proud people are puffed up with their self-worth. In contrast, God loves a courageous person, He gives strength to the courageous Christians. We showcase Courage by putting our faith into action. A courageous Christian maintains his beliefs and repel against that which tries to oppose his beliefs.
Bonding With The World, Negates Our Understanding of The Word?
Rev 3 :20-21
Our uncontrolled interaction with the world has subdued our understanding of the word of God. When we do things according to the flow of the world, it subjugates our conviction of the word of God in us, and relegates the operation of the Holy Spirit. To withstand the interference of the world, It is very important for Christians to study and apply the Word of God by the day.
Identifying With Jesus. Rom 6:22
In order to be able to identify with Jesus, we must acknowledge ourselves as born slaves and must be willing to follow the revelation of Jesus. Any Christian who desires to grow in His walk with God must identify with Christ and live in a state of dependence on Jesus;
How Needy are We?
In spite of our earthly possession, fame and status, Jesus still adjudges you as needy people.
God’s invitation to us to fellowship with him to interact with him. The more we interact with God, the more we grow in our understanding of God.
Do not succumb to fear.
Jer 29:13, Prov 23:26
The Devil uses fear to endanger Christians, thus we forget that we have been exempted by God with a lasting covenant. Christians are enjoined to be steadfast in the Lord.
Footnotes.
We serve a God who was, is and is to come. This reveals the continuing nature of God.
God is accessible to all Believers.
God encourages us to surrender our all, in this degree, He will release his full measures unto us.
