The American government had slammed visa restrictions to Adams Oshiomhole former governor of Edo State and suspended National Chairman of the rulling All Progressive Congress APC in Nigeria. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Nasir el-Rufai, Yahaya Bello all Governors of Kano, Kaduna and Kogi States respectively also made the list for individually and collectively been suspected to be involved in electoral malpractices in verious elections in Nigeria.
A statement by spokesperson for the US Department of State, Morgan Ortagus on Monday identify them as those undermining Democracy in Nigeria
