Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, has warned against the killings of clerics and Christians across Nigeria.
He said there will be war in Nigeria, “the likes of which the world has never seen” if the killings continue.
Fani-Kayode also revealed what will happen if Leah Sharibu, the only Dapchi school girl still in Boko Haram captivity dies.
He warned that there will be consequences if Sharibu dies in captivity.
In a post on his Facebook page, Fani-Kayode wrote: “If Leah Sharibu is killed there will be consequences. If the butchering and mass murder of Christians and our clerics does not stop there will be a war in Nigeria, the likes of which the world has never seen and the consequences of which will be horrendous and unimaginable.
“We are not begging for a civil war and we continue to advise, counsel and pray against one but we cannot take the genocide and ethnic cleansing that is being perpetuated against the Christian community in Nigeria for much longer. If forced, we must and will defend ourselves.”
