Former Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike’s contract with Fenerbahce, has been terminated.
This brings to an end four troubled years with the Turkish club.
Emenike made only 19 appearances at the club last season and scored four goals, after going out on loan to UAE with Al-Ain and England with West Ham the previous season.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move to Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine and he is expected to be compensated by Fenerbahce, before he is officially declared a free player.
The club also terminated the contract of Dutch right-back, Gregory Van Der Wiel.
