Fuel scarcity: Jos residents stranded as petrol hits N950 per litre

Fuel scarcity resurfaced in Jos, Plateau State capital, leaving residents stranded as many filling stations shut their doors making transporters to hike their fares.

Some residents who lamented on the issue told 9News Nigeria correspondent in Jos on Wednesday morning, May 1, they bought a litre of fuel for N900 and in the afternoon to evening of same day, some major filling stations were dispensing at the rae of N950 -N1000 per litre.

The residents who also revealed that the situation has caused inconvenience and hardship to commuters, with many stranded at the bus stops and terminals.
