FT: Nigeria 3:1 Ivory Coast

Nigeria have booked a place for the next edition of U-17 AFCON in Algeria.

Brace from Emmanuel Michael 31′ and 43′ and a goal from Abubakar Abdullahi 60′ gave the Eaglets of Nigeria a win over their counterparts, The Young Elephants of Ivory Coast as they scored a penalty, two minute after the beginning of the encounter while the Golden Eaglets came from behind and scored three goals in well contested encounter.

Emmanuel Michael of Nigeria was voted Man Of The Match (MOTM), braced from free-kick, and his third free-kicks goals in WAFU B consecutively gave him The Man Of The Match award after a superlative performance today against the Young Ivorians.

Nigeria U-17 qualified for finals.
