The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun today met with all security chiefs in the State in his office in Abeokuta, where he received updates on compliance with directives, the security situation, and how best to enforce new measures.

Governor Abiodun stated that the meeting, which had heads of all security agencies present, was to keep the Government abreast of the emerging situation, which it must regularly act upon.

“The current pandemic is no respecter of status, office or person. Anyone can be affected anywhere, especially if measures are not taken.

“So government too should be ahead of developments. That is why we just held this meeting to detail the current security situation and further proactive steps to adopt,” the Governor said after the meeting.

According to the Governor, all security agencies have shown a high level of cooperation and effectiveness.

Governor Abiodun promised to continue to set the security of the people’s lives and property as priority, as a follow-up to what has already been done.
