The Governor of Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara had a state executive council meeting, where he approved the immediate promotion of local government council workers and the N30,000 minimum wage.
Gov Fubara said he has come to better the lives of Rivers People, he will do everything possible to deliver all his campaign promises.
He also agreed to implement a consolidated salary structure for those retiring at level 17 and above and also to pay the N35,000 Naira as approved by the Federal Government to cushion the effect of the Fuel Subsidy Removal.
Gov Fubara also promised to add NULGE as part of the Local Government pension board.
