Governor Lalong Appointed As DG Tinubu Campaign Organization, Receives Rousing Welcome on Return To Jos

All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday, confirmed the governor of Plateau State and Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum (NGF) Barrister Simon Bako Lalong as the Director-General of its Presidential Campaign Council.

All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu along with National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu presented Governor Lalong to President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential Villa, Abuja.

National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu also announced that Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo as been appointed as Interim Spokesperson for the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

Speaking on the choice of Lalong as the campaign DG, he said it was simply based on Lalong’s ability to deliver.

Lalong who immediately departed Abuja to Jos was received by large crowd of APC supporters at the Yakubu Gowon Airport, Haipang, who came out to welcome him and rejoice over the appointment.
