
The Honourable Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, @Hannatu Musa Musawa, was officially inducted into the Commonwealth Business Women Africa (CBW-Africa) at the CBW-Africa Summit 2025.
The investiture ceremony was conducted by the President of CBW-Africa, Mrs. Ngozi Oyewole, in recognition of the Minister’s commitment to fostering economic opportunities for women in the creative and cultural sectors.
Delivering a keynote address, she highlighted the vital role women play in driving economic growth through entrepreneurship, trade, and creative enterprises.
She emphasized the need for greater advocacy to ensure women’s inclusion in leadership positions, particularly in government, where they can influence policies that shape economic and social frameworks.Reaffirming her commitment, Hon. Musawa stated that the Ministry will continue to champion initiatives that empower women within the sector, fostering sustainable development and inclusive growth.
