🟢Target public offices, rich men houses food stores for survival amid hardship
Sunday afternoon, our correspondent alerted us that Abuja residents invaded NEMA Warehouse, looted Foodstuffs, cartons of noodles and other items amid hardship while targetting to continue invading public offices for survival.
Some persons who spoke in the crowd told Newsmen that “Untill they start attacking CBN convoys coming from NSPMC, you people will still think it’s a joke.
“Hunger is the root of every evil. The government should continue its nonchalant attitudes towards the hardship in the country, until when the heat will go out of hand towards CBN and the elites houses.
The level of hardship will make people start raiding even public establishments where food items are stocked, rich men houses and shops likely loaded with eatables for survival, anonymous hinted.
This is happening when dollar price has continued to rise against the Naira, prices of food stuffs grow more higher, pump price of fuel and petroleum products are far reached to the masses including insecurity, high transportation fare and unpredictable cost of living. House rents have also skyrocketed alongside increase in death rate and sicknesses caused by hardship.
Some persons who spoke with our correspondent frowned at this development while stating that such acts are stage managed. Some other persons are of the opinion that government should stop dilly-dallying over hardship and economical meltdown bedevilling the country. ”
“Things are getting worst on daily basis and the political leaders are enjoying in their comfort zones. If nothing is done to control the HardTimes being experienced in Nigeria, the situation may not be funny anymore.
“Nobody will say there is no hardship since the subsidy saga took the center stage and till date no good action is taken to cushion hunger in the land and also sustain same, an Abuja based economist stated.
