Imo Born Super Falcons Receives Plots Of Land From Governor Uzodinma

The Government of Imo State under Governor Hope Uzodinma has dolled out Five plots of land to the super Falcons players from Imo state.

The executive order came from Governor Uzodinma who has requested the honorable commissioner for lands , Sir Noble Atulegwu to carry out the directive.

The commissioner presented the five allocation papers to the players in the presence of newsmen in his office.

The gift was to appreciate their good efforts while celebrating their impressive representation at the just concluded Women’s football tournament held in Australia.

Recall that the Super Falcons of Nigeria played very well but luck ran out of them when they were defeated by the England female Team.

These Imo born Super Falcons players expressed happiness at the acceptance of this noble gift from Imo state government and thanked the government of Imo state for the recognition done to them.

These Imo born Super Falcons players had earlier appreciated the support from Imo fans and football lovers world over at the just concluded Women’s football tournament.

The gift was inline with the Governor’s usual magnanimous way of achieving the Shared Prosperity goals of his administration and in extension encouraging good efforts across boards.

The Commissioner for Lands who called the players “Ambassadors of Peace and Proud Representatives of the country in the global sphere.” has thanked the Governor of the state, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma for his extension of appreciation to the Super Falcons players.

The Falcons from Imo State were represented by Jennifer Iruka (one of the Goalkeepers of the team).
