More appointees of Imo state government are likely going to be sanctioned over alleged misconduct in office, 9News Nigeria Source disclosed.

Our source hinted that the state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has resolved to suspend and sack all his Appointees that engaged in dirty deals and extortion.

Few days ago , the sledge hammer fell on few appointees as they were withdrawn from their services for committing offence.

This time as we gathered from different quarters the Governor hammer will hit appointees that refused to turn a new leaf.

Those to face the latest suspicion are appiontees who formed illegal taskforce, diversion of government IGR and illegal extortion.

However, indication that the sole administrators of the 27 local government areas will go before ending of December is real after which the Governor will call for Local Government Election as gathered by 9News Nigeria.

Grapevine source further revealed that a good number of the appiontees misbehaved during the last Governorship and right now, they are avoiding the Governor because of what they did.

Some APC Party chieftains who spoke behind the camera to our correspondent complained of sabotage by some of the government appointees, adding that it’s time for Governor Hope Uzodinma to completely dissolve his cabinet and flush out the bad eggs who are bringing bad image to the 3R government.

We also gathered that Governor Uzodinma have started his appraisal. After gathering all information between now and the end of December 2023, he will then dissolve his cabinet and make a new list.

In furtherance, development center Co-Ordinators across the state are likely going to be affected in the upcoming reshufflement as grape vine source revealed that such group of appiontees are redundant since the Governor assigned them to work.

There has not been any tangible effect on the development coordinators and the state is not ready to be recycling appiontees that cannot offer services to the shared prosperity administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma.

Besides, the Governor will be sworn in at due time following the reshuffling of cabinets and local government election in view as 9News Nigeria gathered.
