Imo: We Are Committed In Returning Recovered Assets To Original Owners- Says OCDA General Manager

The Special Adviser/General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority, OCDA, Engr. Francis Chukwu, has reiterated State Government’s unwavering commitment towards returning recovered stolen and illegally acquired assets by past administration to the original owners.

Speaking during an audience interactive radio show, People’s Assembly on Hot FM 99.5 Owerri, he affirmed that under his Leadership at OCDA building plans without proper approval from the agency will no longer be tolerated,as cases of irregularities will be revisited.

The OCDA helmsman opined that his coming is to consolidate on areas of strength and improve on areas of weakness at the Agency as government is continuum just as he averred that the new OCDA is working with human face without fear or favour through an “open door policy”.

On the recently demolished pedestrian flyover at Emmanuel College Wetheral road, Engr. Chukwu hinted that the flyover failed integrity test carried out by professional body of engineers who satisfied it as a danger to students and Imolites at large.

He however urged Imolites to utilize the hotlines of the Agency provided to report any issue or for more information about the Agency.

Regular callers on the Radio show Chief Awolowo Nkwodede, Chief Jude Ugboaja,Pst Chinedu Nnadi and others, poured encomiums on Engr. Chukwu for his great vision and innovation in the agency,as they also applauded Gov. Uzodimma for recovering assets belonging to Imolites.
