Today a great man was born into the family of late Felix Ofoegbu. And that man is Honourable Chief Godwin Chidi Ofoegbu.
He was a one time GOVERNORSHIP aspirant of PDP in Imo state. A politicial leader who started his leadership feat in Enugu state where he became the first non indigene Councilor in the state because of his goodwill and great sense of humour.
He took the Imo state union Enugu state to an enviable heights and showcased them to the national television stations all over the world.
His Excellency Chief Chidi Ofuegbu is an upspring of NZE OZICHUKWU CHUKWU, a renowned strategist and Grassroot Politician from IHITTE UBOMA bloc in Imo state.
However, Hon Chidi Ofoegbu’s level of philanthropy is second to none. I am celebrating a star and a lovely brother from another mother.

While in my wee days of academic feat and civil rights activism in the beautiful scenery of the coal city, Hon Chidi took me to places of honour where I carried bags and boxes for political heavy weights in Enugu state and became the state youth CORDINATOR of Imo Union Enugu state under the then former Deputy Governor of Imo state, Her Excellency ADA OKWUONU.
He was not surprised when I single handedly brought the NEW FACE ORGANIZATION to Enugu State NIGERIA through the campaign office of His Excellency CHIEF IkEDI GODSON OHAKIM, wonderfully managed by its DG, Barr JERRY Egemba and Evangelist Samuel Ezeji.
Hon Ofoegbu is a supporter of youth Development and good Governance. He sponsored the new face organization in Enugu state single handedly. He is a financier of Imo Union Enugu state and a shelter to Ndi Imo in the state among others.
Chief Chidi Ofoegbu hails from Owerri west local government area of Imo state Nigeria.There is no doubt that Owerri west and Imolites are proud of you. More happy returns!
