Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee is reportedly preparing to request a move away from Old Trafford when the January transfer window opens.
According to reports, Manager Ruben Amorim has inform club officials that Zirkzee does not fit into his long-term plans, a decision influenced by the summer signings of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Sesko, who have pushed the Dutch striker further down the pecking order.

However, the out-of-favour forward want to leave the club in winter transfer window, which opens on January 1.
The Netherlands international arrived at United from Seria A side Bologna for £36 million during Ten Hag’s reign back in July 2024 and has since failed to nail down a starting place.
The 24-year-old has registered just seven goals and three assists in 53 appearances for the Red Devils and appears to be wary down the pecking order under Amorim, who has added Zirkzee just three appearances so far this term.
The supposed reason for Zirkzee’s stance relates to him wanting to be involved in the 2026 World Cup with Netherlands head coach Ronald Koeman having told him he needs to be playing regularly and starting games If he is considered by the Orange.

The forward prefer to remain in Premier League but will not rule out a move to Europe, having previously been the subject of interest from number of Italian clubs, including Juventus.
Zirkzee is currently contracted to Manchester United until the summer of 2029.
United are said to be open to loan offers for the striker as they seek to ensure regular playing time for him elsewhere.
