Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo has spurn at the Federal Government’s ban of money rituals in movies.
This follows the approval of the prohibition of Money Ritual, Ritual Killing, Tobacco, Tobacco Products, Nicotine Product Promotion and Glamorisation display in Movies, Musical Videos and Skits Regulations 2024 by the Minister of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa.
Kanayo joined other prominent Nollywood figures to strongly kick against the government’s new restrictions.
According to him, the new policy was “arrant nonsense”, discrediting the Minister for such endorsement.
“Arrant nonsense. This minister has no work, just like lair Mohammed.” He said.
