Governor Hope Uzodinma commiserate with the people of Njaba over the wicked gunning down of their monarchs.

His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has commiserated with the people of Njaba Local Government over the ugly incident which took place at the council Headquarters while the Traditional Rulers were having a meeting.

Speaking after a brief at the Government House, the Governor expressed sadness over the attack, describing it as an expression of wickedness and desecration of sacred stool; promising that his administration would ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.

His Excellency called on the people of Njaba Local Government to cooperate with relevant authorities in unmasking those behind this ugly atrocity for the Government wouldn’t condone this new approach to banditry in Imo State.

In his words, the news of the attack on Traditional Rulers of Njaba Local Government Area by some hoodlums, which resulted in some casualties, came to me with a rude shock and this is a clear exhibition of wickedness and desecration of the sacred stool”

“I commiserate with the people of Njaba over this incident as I vow on my honor to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.

This new dimension to banditry would not be allowed to flourish on our soil.
