The Lagos State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the internationally acclaimed construction company, Summa Group, to develop and construct the much-anticipated Lekki-Epe International Airport.
This groundbreaking initiative announced by the State Government Today, marks a significant step in the state’s commitment to enhancing connectivity, driving economic growth, and attracting global investments.
The new airport, strategically located in the rapidly expanding Lekki-Epe corridor, is expected to ease travel, boost commercial activities, and create new opportunities for businesses and residents across the state.
Speaking on the development, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed the government’s dedication to infrastructural advancement.
He further noted that this project will position Lagos as a leader in economic transformation, emphasizing the administration’s vision of a globally competitive Lagos.

With the signing of the MoU, work is set to commence on what promises to be a landmark aviation project, further solidifying Lagos’ reputation as a hub for trade, tourism and investment.
