Governor Seyi Makinde has declared that his administration would ensure accelerated development of Oyo State through agriculture in the next four years.
Speaking at an event in Eruwa , he pledged that the current government would revive farm settlements and leverage agricultural value chain to turn the fortunes of the state around .
His Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa , Makinde , in a statement, stressed that the state intended to use agriculture as a point of contact for development .
On infrastructure development, the governor assured the people of Ibarapa land that his government would compete the Ibadan /Eruwa highway .
Makinde told his hosts that he holds them in high esteem, hence their community was his first port of call since his inauguration on May 29 this year.
