Do you know that mandate is not and can never be a birthright? Hope Uzodinma like every other gubernatorial candidate at the last elections, purchased a form, campaigned and sold his ideas to those who wished to listen. Many believed him and voted for him. That he went to court like every other candidates who lost the election and eventually won his case does not make him a devil.

In all his processes, he abides with the lay down rules, thus can be said to have followed the due process. I do not blame those who are frustrated by the outcome of the court ruling, because you can’t beat a careless child and still prevent him from crying. Therefore, change this impression of a ‘stolen mandate’.

Hope Uzodinma did not invite insecurity in the state, and for the benefit of all and sundry, he saw that the police has been overpowered and can no longer handle the situations, he invited the military to help (that the military came and handled the issue in their own manner which is condemnable is a different topic).

Recall that during the defunct Emeka Ihedioha’s reign, he formed a security operations called “the iron gate” which comprises of all security outfits and Hope formed in a similar way, the “Search and Flush” and we cry boo hoo. The insecurity in Imo state is no different as that which we see or hear in every part of the country, but because we exaggerate with hate and propagate rumors, that is why Imo is always at the front pages of the National dailies, coupled with the fake news on the social media.

Imo is a land filled with intellectuals / men and women with natural wits but it baffles me why like every other ignorant person the so called witty brains feel that Uzodimma doesn’t know anything about governance, how come he has achieved a lot more than your preferred candidates amidst this coursed environment? Well, I am sure hate wouldn’t allow so many of you to notice that.

I could remember that Ex Governor Rochas Okorocha was tagged an Hausa man, thus the name ‘Okoroawusa’. Now he is eventually becoming a saint before us. I could still remember that Ndi Imo rejoiced when Uzodinma took the APC ticket away from his son in-law. It was the dawn of a new era!!!

The earlier we accept our own, the better for us. When you position yourself well, blessings will follow you. Power they say is not given, rather, power is gotten. Let me further reiterate, “MANDATE IS NOT A BIRTHRIGHT”.

Most of you still wonder how the fourth position can become the first, as if we have forgotten a popular naija adage, “the first shall be the last and the last shall be the first”, moreover, the election process doesn’t end at pronouncement of a victor, that is why after election, all candidates still go to court. You seat at home and cry foul, can you verge for yourself that in your personal daily endeavours you’ve been a saint? Tinkabourit!!!

Hope Uzodinma is not a British man neither is he from Niger, he is a true son of Imo state, therefore, if an Imo man lost a mandate to another Imo man, I think we should all say “Let Imo prevail”.

LET THERE BE PEACE IN IMO.LET’S ALL COME TOGETHER AND FIGHT INSECURITY. HOPE UZODIMMA CAN’T RESTORE NORMALCY ALONE.YOU HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY”
