Alhaji Abdullahi Bello Bodejo, the President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural organisation has been conferred with a traditional title in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Bodejo was conferred with the Sarkin Fulani Kasar Jiwa by the Emir of Jiwa, HRH Dr. Idris Musa, MFR.
According to the traditional rulers, the title was conferred on Bodejo in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Nigeria, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT and the community.
Musa also stated that the title was conferred in recognition of Bodejo’s unwavering commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage of the community.
The traditional ruler explained that the title is a symbol of honour and respect bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and dedication to the well being of the Fulani people.
“Your unselfish effort in putting FCT and Nigeria on the World map have not gone unnoticed and it is with great pleasure that I bestow upon you this revered title”, the monarch stated further in a letter dated November 16, 2024.
He expressed confidence that as Sarkin Fulani Kasar Jiwa, Bodejo will uphold the values and traditions of the community with dignity and grace.
“May this traditional title serve as testament to your commitment to our shared cultural heritage and as a source of inspiration for others to follow your footsteps.
“I’m confident that you’ll carry this title with pride and honour embodying the virtues and principles that define our community.
“May this title bring you joy, fulfilment and a renewed sense of purpose as you continue your journey of service to our people”, the letter reads further.
