The father of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad,Joseph Aloba, claims that the singer rejected his son, Liam, before he died.
Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, and was buried the following day.
Following debates and exhumations, an autopsy conducted eight months later, failed to determine the cause of death, as the singer’s body had decomposed when tests were conducted.
Meanwhile, Aloba has refused to rebury Mohbad until a DNA test confirms Liam’s biological father.
In an audio clip circulated on X, He claimed that Mohabd had stated that he only slept with his wife, Wumi, once before she became pregnant.
“They shaved my late son’s hair before I got to his house. People saying my son did not reject Liam are lying.
“He said he only slept with Wunmi once and she brought pregnancy after their first sex”, he stated.
However, in December 2023, Wunmi agreed to the DNA test, but requested it be conducted at three hospitals, alleging that Aloba connived with people to bully her and Liam because of his interest Mohbad’s properties.
“Mohbad, during his lifetime, acknowledged that child as his own. Once the father acknowledges his child, no third party can come out and say the child is not legitimate”, she said.
