Popular Nigerian Singer and Songwriter, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about his love and devotion to his wife, Chioma, describing their wedding as the happiest day of his life.
In a recent interview on the Morning Hustle podcast, the music star shared personal insights about his relationship, revealing that he wouldn’t have considered marriage If it wasn’t with Chioma.
“My wedding was the happiest day of my life. Chioma has been my girl for 12 years, so it was only right I married her”, Davido said, adding that their bond had remained strong since they first met, even before he became famous.
He recalled that while he was already a budding artist when they met, he wasn’t yet a household name.
However, their connection stood the test of time, culminating in their marriage.
Unbothered by guest list on his big day, DMW boss emphasized the significance of marrying his long-time partner.
“If it wasn’t her (Chioma), I’m not getting married. There’s no point”, he declared.
This candid revelation underscores the depth of affection for Chioma, whom he has often referred to as “the love of his life”.
