The Commissioner for Lands, Hon.Noble ATULEGWU has continued to attract reliable support and strong backup of Imo people particularly the NBA Imo state chapter.
Imo state chapter of the Nigeria Bar Association has thrown support behind the efforts of the Imo State Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Physical Planning, Hon. Noble A. Atulegwu (KSC) in changing the ugly narratives in the land, survey and physical planning matters of Imo State.
On a visit paid to Commissioner Noble Atulegwu in his office on Friday, April 23, 2021,the leader of the delegation and chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association, Imo State chapter, Barr. Jude Ogamba who expressed the support of the association urged Hon. Noble Atulegwu to keep up the good work he has commenced in the Ministry as it will greatly contribute to the betterment of Imo state.
Meanwhile,since the inception of the land Commissioner good plans were unrolled in the Imo State Ministry of Lands, Survey and Physical Planning after the new lands boss was brought in to pilot the Ministry.
9News Nigeria has it that reasonable changes such as the quick attention now given to matters brought to the Ministry by the members of the public. Collection of any cash payment has been stopped in the Ministry by Hon.Noble Atulegwu who strongly warned all departments in the Ministry against collecting cash payments, rather should direct payers to make their payments into the TSA of Imo State and attach receipt of their payments on their files before bringing them to his table to do the necessary work.
Also, we observed that the act of loitering around by some staff of the Ministry and even none staff of the Ministry during office hours has stopped drastically!
In addition, Press Release issued by his Media Aide pointed on town planners in Imo State to join Governor Hope Uzodimma in building a great state void of distorted town plans.
He asserted that the Imo state government led by Governor Hope Uzodimma is committed to restoring the master-plans of the state aimed at placing Imo State on the path of well structured development. Atulegwu asked them to call to order their members who are aiding developers to distort the master-plans of the state before the long arm of the law catches up with them.
He said everyone should start contributing their quota to assist Governor Hope Uzodimma to build a great Imo State where development will Improve and economy stabilized.
