Governor’ Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe state and chairman Northern Governors Forum (NGF) has stressed the need for a review of the immediate causes of the crisis in Plateau State in order to find lasting solution. He said this While interacting with State House reporters after a closed-door meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He commended President Tinubu for sending Vice President Kashim Shettima to visit Kaduna and Plateau States towards getting the details of what transpired at Tudin Biri, Kaduna State as well as Barkin -Ladi and Bokkos Local Government Areas of Plateau State.
On Plateau, he said, “Despite the fact that this matter has been there for long, it is time for stakeholders to have a roundtable and tell each other the truth and then take deliberate steps toward loving each other”.
