Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged the Federal Government to halt all forms of apology and negotiations with terrorists, expressing deep concern over the country.
Speaking at the Plateau Unity Christmas Carol and Praise festival in Jos on Friday, Obasanjo condemned the increasing wave of killings and mass abductions, including recent attacks on schools and farming communities in Niger, Kebbi, Kano, and Kwara State.
He faulted the government ‘s approach, especially following the release of abducted worshippers after negotiations with their captors.
Obasanjo insisted that If government continues to fail in its constitutional responsibility to protect citizens, Nigerians reserve the right to seek help from the international community, stressing that insecurity has become a national crisis transcending religion, region or social status, urging the leaders to act decisively.
