Alhaji Yisa Ismaila Adebayo, popularly known as OmoAde, has called on Nigerians across all walks of life to use the upcoming Ramadan period as a time of sincere prayers and reflection for the peace, unity, and progress of the nation.
Speaking during a community engagement, Alhaji Adebayo emphasized that Ramadan is not only a season of fasting and personal spiritual growth, but also a powerful opportunity for collective intercession for the country. He urged Muslims and people of other faiths to pray fervently for stability, economic recovery, and harmonious coexistence among citizens.
According to OmoAde, Nigeria is at a critical point where divine guidance and national unity are urgently needed. He encouraged religious leaders to dedicate special prayer sessions for the country throughout the holy month, asking for wisdom for leaders, security for communities, and opportunities for the youth.
“Nigeria belongs to all of us. This Ramadan, let us go beyond our personal needs and remember our nation in our supplications. Let us pray for peace in every region and for God to guide those in positions of authority,” he said.
Alhaji Adebayo concluded by expressing optimism that with unity, sincere prayers, and collective responsibility, Nigeria can overcome its challenges and emerge stronger.
As Ramadan approaches, his message serves as a reminder of the power of faith and national solidarity in building a more peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
